My Fall Bucket List

Fall is my favorite time of year. October is my favorite month. Over the years, it has become a very special time of year for me and my family. My husband and I started our relationship and later got married in October. My favorite holiday is Halloween. I found out I was pregnant with my second son on our third wedding anniversary in October. With all of these things Fall, especially October, is the most fun time of year for my family. This year to add to this fun we have decided to put together a family Fall Bucket List.

We will be starting the activities on the first of October with a family Boo basket and ending on Thanksgiving with the Macy’s thanksgiving day parade and eating too much for dinner. Now more time consuming and money costing activities will be happening on weekends. But there are plenty of cheap and free things that can be done at home throughout the week.

A few cheap or free activities are-

Jumping in a pile of leaves

    Drinking apple cider

Watch a Halloween movie – Hocus Pocus, Halloweentown,       Paranorman

Listen to a Fall playlist…. And dance!

Roast pumpkin seeds after carving pumpkins

Activities that are more time consuming and possibly more expensive, but not too expensive are-

Visit a local fruit farm and pick apples and pumpkins

Make Boo baskets for family and friends

     Go to the zoo

Go thrifting… Maybe for a new warm sweater

     Buy costumes

These are just a few ideas to add to your own Fall bucket list. You can make your own list of your favorite activities to do in the Fall.  No matter what you choose to do this Fall just remember to have fun and enjoy this beautiful time of year.
