July started off fun with celebrating the 4th of July. We went to my mom’s annual cookout. There was so many foods to pick from including the red, white and blue fruit salad I made. We finished our time at the cookout taking the kids in the pool. My boys love water and thoroughly enjoyed getting to go in the pool.
After that the weather got much hotter and we have been spending more time inside. We watch movies, play with blocks( my oldest is obsessed), and soaked up all the AC.
On days that are cooler or at least start cool, we will take the boys to the park to play on the playground. The city we live in has many parks with very different playgrounds. We have visited about all of them at this point but we definitely have a favorite park to go to at this point. I have toddlers so parks with a ton of stairs, climbing things and monkey bars just aren’t appropriate for them yet. Our favorite park has very few steps to go up, but still has a huge area for them to run around and burn up some energy.
