What strategies do you use to increase comfort in your daily life?
In my daily life I do many things to increase my comfort. There are so many simple things you can do to put a bit more comfort in your daily life.
The first thing I do each morning when getting out of bed is to put on my slippers. I’m a stay at home mom and I don’t go out to often so having a cute, comfortable pair of slippers is essential.
The next thing I do is to try my best to do is make sure my home is at temperature for the day. If you run hot and it’s mid summer you probably don’t want to be sweating like a pig.
Something else that gives me comfort in my daily life is to try to have my meals for the day planned out the day before. Doing this leaves very little to surprise and gives me the chance to get things out to thaw for the next day instead of right before I need to start cooking.
Another great thing that gives me comfort daily is following a morning and night routine with my family. I can get my family up and going for the day and at night, fed, bathed and ready for bed. My family thrives on having a routine to help them through these times that could otherwise be chaotic and hard to trudge through.
These are just a few things I do daily to bring comfort to my everyday life.
